Technical Recruiter
  • Desirable to have Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology / Human Resources Management or and relevant field
  • At least 5+ years working experience with proven track as a Technical Recruiter 
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, structured interview)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)

Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to source the best talent. Help build the business by pursuing every opportunity to present the company as an amazing employer. Innovate in building pipeline matching a candidate to the company’s needs and requirements. 

Strategic Recruitment

(Develop and implement effective hiring strategies)

  • Initiate job and task analyses with Managers and Department Heads and help in documenting job duties and qualifications.
  • Coordinate with Managers and Department Heads to forecast department goals and hiring needs.
  • Facilitate in building employer branding projects.
  • Facilitate training programs for effective interviewing, employer branding etc.
  • Build a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires. 

Talent Acquisition

  • Review job orders and employment applications to match applicants with job requirements. 
  • Promote job opportunities that stands out from the crowd, leveraging internet job ads and postings, emails, tech platforms, job fairs, trade shows, referral programs and other recruiting tools to attract excellent candidates on a continual basis, staying within applicable recruiting/strategic plan budgets. 
  • Proactive search and select job applicants, confirm their qualifications and refer them to hiring managers.
  • Interview job applicants verifying work history, job skills, training and education, and inform them of the position’s duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits and working conditions.
  • Contact applicants to inform them of their application status. 
  • Conduct background or reference checks on job applicants, particularly those who will be given job offers.
  • Compose job offer letters. 
  • Conduct employee orientation for new hires.

 

Reports directly to HR Manager and works closely to hiring managers.

  • Socially adept but with strong negotiation skills. 
  • Strong communication verbal and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of the IT industry and its current events.
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. Creative talent and the ability to solve tough problems.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Compliance with security principles, policies, standards, procedures and guidelines, laws and regulations.
