Marketing & Communications Specialist
  • Graduate of Communications, Commerce, Marketing or Business Administration, but others may be considered based on experience.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in communication or marketing-related role or field, including corporate communications, digital marketing, social media management, internal communications, editorial, or PR. No start-up or IT background required.
  • Strong writing skills
  • Able to work accurately and with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised individual with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in B2B marketing and communications
  • Willingness to be trained
  • An enthusiastic, proactive attitude, with great self-motivation, team spirit and a passion for dealing with people
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Assist with the creation and development of marketing and communications content across a full range of channels: internal, external, visual, digital, events, broadcast, and social media.
  • Maintain and enhance content for key marketing and communications assets, including decks, guidelines, and tracking documents.
  • Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager and Public Relations Manager, support the team on key campaigns, including project management for marketing and PR. This includes closely working with stakeholders across the business, conducting research, building relationships, following project plans, and providing ideas.
  • Monitor, update the team, and produce reports on relevant trends, policies, competitor strategies, and other such information as may be required for the effective execution of marketing and communications strategies
  • Writing and Content Generation. We’re looking for someone with a flexible writing style, and with experience in writing for a range of external and internal audiences.
  • Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, PPC Google and how it applies to content marketing is desired, but not absolutely required.
  • Using primary and secondary research data, he/she must be able to synthesize information into knowledge and insights that can be applied to the company’s various communications and marketing strategies.
  • People and Communication skills. He/she must be able to express ideas, discuss issues, and persuade colleagues eloquently in written or verbal formats.
  • This role will be cross-functional and will work on a day-to-day basis with the Marketing Manager and Public Relations Manager.

    The performance of this role will be measured on a set of metrics to be agreed upon.
