DevSecOps Engineer
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any similar technical field of study
  • At least 5 years of experience in one or more cloud computing platforms including but not limited to: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Detailed understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP-based services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP), IP addressing/sub-netting and routing principles, IPv4/IPv6/IPSec protocols (SSL, TLS, SSH), network design principles (LAN, WAN), network and information security
  • Software engineering experience in one or more programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript
  • CI/CD experience using development, testing, and deployment technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes,and other DevOps tools
  • Experience with Cassandra, PostgreSQL, or similar database management systems
  • Understanding of Micro service Architecture is a PLUS
  • Good written and verbal communication, including interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work independently, adaptability to work with interdependent teams in a global environment

  • Understands the systems development life cycle that is adhering to essential phases of product release and deployment
  • Collaborates effectively with software, hardware, and firmware developers by discovering issues or concerns and aggressively driving bug resolution
  • Automates operational tasks through scripting and tool development to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Develops software to integrate with internal backend systems
  • Designs procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Implements the combined practices of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Performs root cause analysis for production errors, investigates technical issues, and helps resolves issues encountered by end-users
  • Designs security into the pipeline and reduces threats and vulnerabilities on our products
  • Applies principles and techniques of Agile DevOps methodologies
